Great Insect Fair. (2016, 2017 and 2018). Penn State University.

• Volunteer at insect zoo (2016 and 2017) and butterfly tent (2018)

• No of participants: ~4000 each event

 

Community Education Extended Learning (CEEL) Event. (10 October 2018). Easterly Parkway Elementary School, State College, PA.

• Ran a booth to help students understand how plant ‘communicate’ with their neighbors and other organisms (predators and parasitoids) when they are attacked by insect herbivores.

• No of participants: ~40 kids

 

HuntedU. (October 20, 2018). Huck institute of life science, Penn State University, PA.

• Ran a booth to introduce a concept of biodiversity and help them understand why we need to care about it.

• No of participant: ~50 kids and their parents, all age

    

Homeschool group. (December 12, 2018). First Baptist Church, Bellefonte, PA.

• Introduced the concept of the complete life cycle and helped students learn different life stages of tobacco hornworms.

• No of participants: 15 kids (ages: 6-9, 1-3rd graders)
